February 2007 - Present. Senior Recruiter: Aegis Staffing - Supporting the startup and rollout of the Aegis team's Information Technology Staffing line of business by providing business leads for the Account Management Team, filling job orders that result from these leads as well as the Account Managers' individual marketing efforts.

Senior Recruiter: The Prism Group - Responsible
for filling job orders for a range of position types from Information Technology,
Engineering, Scientific, and Management by using a variety of tools and techniques
to source candidates, post position, screen candidates, administer tests as
needed, conduct initial interviews, prepare candidates for client interviews,
and complete all appropriate paperwork.

Manager of Recruiting and I/S: Highland
- Manager of the recruiting team (as well as a actively recruiting) and the
Information Systems support team for Highland. Responsibilities include recruiting,
recruiting productivity, recruiting strategy, advertising, web page design and
maintenance, and personnel management of a team of 8.
January 1997 - October 1999. Senior Technical Recruiter: Highland
- Placing Information Technology Professionals with Fortune 500 clients in the
Colorado Front Range area. Specializing in large system support, testing, operations
and analysis. Additionally, responsible for advertising, web page design and
maintenance, and providing productivity aids for the recruiting team.
June 1993 - January 1997. Expert Analyst: AmerInd, Inc. - Technical consulting for Department of Defense Data Center Consolidation Program providing an industry perspective to the planning and migration process through specific deliverables. Responsibilities included validation of overall consolidation plans, review and advice on individual migration plans, headquarters liaison for migration issues, and coordination of schedules.
September 1991 - June 1993.
Special Project, Facilities, and Hardware & Capacity Planning Manager: Integrated
Systems Solutions Corporation (an IBM Subsidiary) - Focus on team building
and customer service transformed hardware and capacity planning teams from individuals
working on isolated assignments to teams with a common mission and strategy,
creating an atmosphere of increased communication, productivity and cooperation
with standardized, uniform procedures and documentation. Projects included consolidation
and rearrangement of the data center and supporting office areas, building a
20,000 square-foot raised floor addition with UPS/EPS systems, expansion of
existing UPS/EPS systems, and technology upgrades for existing systems and input/output
equipment.
April 1989 - September 1991. Senior Programmer Analyst: IBM
- Served as the Information Systems Delivery cross-functional liaison, implementing
Information Engineering disciplines in all areas. Responsible for I/S Delivery
special projects, workload priority tradeoffs, resource and skills planning
and technical vitality, solution strategies for I/S Delivery problems, and system/application
development escalation.
December 1984 - April 1989. Advisory Systems Analyst: IBM
- Provided middle management support through resource planning (human and I/S
equipment) and utilization reports, raised floor usage and system capacity coordination,
and a rigorous focus on process documentation for the above. Coordinated resources
for construction of, and move to a new 100,000 square-foot data center. Project
manager for consolidation of the Rolm Operating System from 14 regional systems
(Hewlett Packard) to a single MVS platform. As Project Manager for the 9370
Site Processor Pilot Project for the Mid?Atlantic Region, I deployed the systems,
documented the roll-out procedures, evaluated the design concepts, and made
the decision to discontinue the project in favor of an alternative solution.
February 1984 - December 1984. Network Support Manager: IBM
- Planned, staffed, and launched a new department focused on end user availability
and satisfaction in 10 months, two months ahead of schedule.
October 1983 - February 1984. Program Administrator: IBM
- Built the 1984 resource plan for the I/S Operations middle manager.
May 1980 - October 1983. Systems Management Controls Manager: IBM
- In this self-designed position, a new department structure, core team, and
focus on management, reporting, and tracking accountability for system outages
improved availability (21 shift) from regularly missing a 97.5% target to attainment
of this goal, and eventually to better than 98%. Responsibilities included implementation
of corporate instructions, executive briefing to director and division president
on critical situations, staffing, and planning. Department responsibilities
included problem/change management, physical/data security, disaster recovery/testing,
help desk and executive hot-line.
January 1979 - May 1980. Operations Manager: IBM
- The department covered MVS and VM systems providing on-line access to 60,000
users and a 24-hour batch operation processing field service documents. Expanded
the scope of the operations staff to include greater responsibility in handling
initial problem determination with the goal of reducing outage times.
Technical Skills
HTML, JavaScript, Smalltalk, Basic, REXX, Pascal, Perl, and SAS. Variety of
spreadsheets, presentation packages, databases, business process modeling, word
processors and project management tools. Operating systems and platforms: DOS,
Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP, and OS/2. Mainframe experience covers IBM System 360
through System 390 and all associated peripherals.
